2021 and 2022 have been an amazing period for European mobility funding. According to the report “State of European Mobility Startups H1 2022” produced by Dealroom.co, Via ID and Mobility Club, $5,7B were raised in the first semester of 2022, a value only surpassed by the record of $8,9B in the first half of 2021.
Europe is currently considered the most innovative region, attracting more than 40% of global seed funding in the first semester of 2022. Regarding the trends in the sector, online used car sales are thriving, and Urban Air Mobility is not a utopia anymore and could solve many pollution issues in congested areas.
During the e-pitching event, the following five startups and innovators will introduce their innovative business cases.

ABZERO – Mobility / Drone transportation
A patented autonomous multimodal capsule and software for the delivery of biological material such as blood, organs and vaccines, securing quality and reducing transportation time, costs and CO2 emissions. ABZERO’s Smart Capsule monitors every parameter required for safe delivery, even by drones, which are directly guided by the artificial intelligence on board. A mobile App guarantees the user to activate the system without the need for a flight license.

The eTrailer is the world’s first electric trailer with a patent-granted sensor technology that enables a fully automatic, millisecond precise synchronisation with any bicycle and easily moves heavy cargo in densely populated urban scenarios.
Winner of the “Best international bike trailer of the year 2022” at the IAA Transportation – Integrated into daily operations of UPS and IKEA in Germany – Winner of the public tender of bpost and signed a frame agreement.

Sensible 4 – Mobility/Automated driving
Sensible 4 is an automated driving technology company on a mission to enable autonomous mobility worldwide. Our technology enables any vehicle to operate autonomously. In 2022, they released their automated driving software platform DAWN™, which will enable industrial vehicles, delivery vans, and shuttles to operate autonomously at Level 4. Sensible 4 has won multiple awards, including 1st place in the Dubai World Challenge for Self-Driving Transport 2019 competition and the Finnish Engineering Prize in 2020.
Earlier, Sensible 4 announced the A2 round that they completed in early 2022 with Metaplanet VC, European Investment Bank EIB, and several smaller investors. Currently seeking to close a round for getting their product to the market.
