The speakers

Mali Baum is a renowned serial entrepreneur with has 20 years of experience founding companies. She excelled in the global educational toys market, winning awards for innovation. As an advisor for EU Innovation Council, she’s involved in EIC Green-Deal and serves as an ambassador for Berlin’s economic initiatives. Mali is a sought-after speaker, mentor, and jury member in startup competitions. Actively involved in governmental activities, she promotes diversity and success in tech ecosystems. She spearheads leadership programs and is a Female Angel Accelerator. As a business angel, she focuses on impact investment and ESG. Mali’s extensive network connects startups, VCs, and corporations globally, opening doors for opportunities. 

Angela Liedler, MD, is a physician who worked in German and English hospitals until the end of the 1990s. She was given the opportunity to switch to medical marketing in a huge pharmaceutical company which appealed to her very much. Without further ado, she founded her own healthcare agency, which quickly developed into an international group and eventually merged into the global agency network GSW Liedler and inVentive Health, Inc.. After selling her company in 2011, she transitioned to the MedTech sector and joined Precisis. Under her leadership EASEE®, a minimally invasive brain pacemaker for the treatment of focal epilepsies, developed from an idea into a product that received CE mark in 2022.
