Morning Talks with CUF: Matchmaking with Health & Medtech startups

At our most recent Multicorporate Matchmaking Event, CUF joined forces with Siemens Healthineers to connect with 18 startups specialising in Health and MedTech innovations, exploring avenues for collaboration and investment prospects.

We spoke with representatives from CUF, one of the corporate participants in this matchmaking initiative, to gain their perspectives on the event and to learn why they believe innovators should seise the opportunity to take part in such collaborative ventures.

Innovator Spotlight with POROUS

Following Dealflow.eu’s Multicorporate Matchmaking Event on Health and Medical Technologies held on November 2024 and hosted by EurA AG, we invited POROUS, one of the selected startups, to learn more about the company’s disruptive innovation.
POROUS develops 3D ultrasound technology to detect early cortical bone changes, aiding osteoporosis fracture risk assessment and timely intervention for healthier, stronger bones in later life.

For this article, we met with Nora Alonso, a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with over 20 years of experience in agribusiness and biotech, specialising in company structuring, fundraising, and international partnerships, and currently serving as a partner at DnA Advisory Services and General Partner at Swanlaab Agrifood-Tech Fund.

Nora teamed up with Dealflow.eu as a jury member in our e-pitching event dedicated to University Spin-offs, held in September 2024.

Innovator Spotlight with Louis de Vitry from Kanop

Kanop was elected the best pitch from Dealflow.eu’s E-pitching Event dedicated to University Spin-offs, held on September 2024, and we had an insightful conversation with Louis de Vitry, co-founder and CTO of the startup.
Kanop is reshaping environmental monitoring for carbon markets and nature-related disclosures by using AI and satellite data to provide real-time, large-scale insights on ecosystems, offering faster, more cost-effective, and accurate verification of environmental impacts like carbon sequestration and biodiversity restoration.

Innovation Radar Prize 2024 – Finalists

 We are thrilled to announce the 12 finalists of the Innovation Radar Prize 2024, which will pitch in front of a jury panel and an audience of potential investors at The Europas Awards 2024. The Innovation Radar Summit will take place on 11 November at La Distillerie in Lisbon, right before the Web Summit starts.
